Requirements:
- Requires the most recent version of LookdevX (Maya 2026.3)
- Built in Maya 2026.3 and the latest version of Arnold (MtoA 5.5.5 - Nov 11, 2025)
- Good CPU recommended (I am using a i9-9900K from 2018, ideally nothing less)
Please be aware this is a CPU shader which means you cannot use GPU to preview in the viewport (this is a limitation of how to achieve these effects). It uses a combination of MaterialX and Arnold nodes inside of LookdevX, so while in theory one day this material can be used in multiple applications one day, this build is currently NOT software agnostic and is primarily meant to be used in Autodesk Maya.
This is a LIVE asset and I will be continuing to provide updates as MaterialX integration develops with LookdevX and other applications.
